Logistics - Last Mile

Last Mile System is an application that supports the process of requesting and contracting Last Mile links. It tracks requests for link viability, request for quotes, carrier response quotes, requests for contracts, link activation and link confirmation. Throughout the process, the system generates e-mail messages to notify users of certain events.

The system supports organizations with operations in multiple countries, and allows users to select English, Spanish or Portuguese for screen text display. Other languages can be added easily. The system includes the following modules:

Requests
Allows users to place viability requests, and search for requests and contracts.

Quote/Viability
Allows users to receive viability requests via the system, place quote requests to carriers and register the carriers' responses.

Contracts
Allows users to issue a contract request to the carrier, and register the activation of the link.

Contract/Activation
Allows users to request a link contract from the carrier quotes and confirm the activation of a link after testing.

Finance
Allows users to enter and approve the carrier invoices to pay based on link contracts.
