HEALTH XCHANGE – CROSS CONNECT (XC) ENGINE
The XC Engine conceptualized and implemented by World Data engineers is a key component of our IT Strategic Services implementation, supporting interoperability among systems using a variety of Health Care Standards and Data Protocols. The XC engine solves many critical problems related to data asymmetry and data access currently faced by small and medium health care practices.
XC Engine is an open source engine which enables practices to exchange data among medical devices, EMR and Practice Management systems seamlessly. Due to its open architecture data can also be pulled from old proprietary medical systems and assimilated in a common repository for meaningful use and report generation. Using Sharepoint portals we have been able to share data among practices and provide key stake holders and providers critical KPI reports for management and preventive care.
